Health: Cooking Sweet Potatoes w/Sal (healthfitnesslifeguy)

How to Make Sal’s Sweet Potato Fries
1-warm a frying pan with olive oil at heat #3
2-cut a sweet potato in whatever size you desire, but thinner the better
3-place one slice at a time on a frying pan as “evenly” and flat as possible using as much space you can fit in the pan
4-add some pepper seasoning on top
5-cover the pan (air tight as possible) for quicker heating
6-cook 10 minutes or so until you hear constant fast sizzling
7-flip each potato and then add season pepper again
8-repeat step 6
9-ready and hot, which I recommend putting turmeric for healthy tasting (see down below for #healthbenefits)
10-Let it “cool” for a couple of minutes before eating, which I myself can get very tempted to eat right away. However, it’s hot in your mouth and you won’t be able to savor the flavor and taste! 🙂

“..I make a few different versions of Healthy Egg Salad, but they all begin with the same base: four whole eggs, plus two egg whites. Using fewer yolks makes the egg salad lighter, and I also find that, if I use all six yolks, it makes the egg salad taste too (forgive me but I can’t find a better word to describe it) eggy. If you prefer a little more richness (or enjoy the full-on egg factor), feel free to toss in the last two yolks as well.

I also make my egg salad without mayo, replacing it with Greek yogurt. Greek yogurt is creamy, low in calories, and high in protein, making this Healthy Egg Salad both ultra filling and diet friendly….”

“..I did add dried dill to my egg salad because I LOVE it, but feel free to use fresh dill if you have it or omit it all together. No big deal! Also, don’t be shy with the salt, or pepper! I love pepper. I use this pepper grinder on the coarsest setting and throw pepper onto anything and everything.

I didn’t add celery to this recipe because I didn’t have any on hand and didn’t miss it! Of course, feel free to add it in for an extra crunch.

If you want an extra boost of nutrition, try grating 1/2 – 1 cup of fresh zucchini onto some paper towels, wring out really well and stir that into this recipe. A trick I first tried with my Epic Chicken Salad that changed my life…”
